My Story
Pivato Investing was started by me, Jordan Pivato in February 2020 with the mission of giving everyone the ability to learn how to invest. To date, Pivato Investing has helped over 100 students with stock market investing.
In 2017, I began investing the money I earned from my part-time job into the stock market. After three years of investing, I began to see the real financial benefits.
I was concerned that students lacked the knowledge of personal finance and investing because the school system didn't make it mandatory in the curriculum.
We are taught to "leave investing to the professionals". For example, people can just talk to a financial advisor at a bank and have them invest their money into mutual funds for them. However, the problem with this is that the fees on most mutual funds are ridiculously high and unnecessary.
Someone investing $10,000 each year for 40 years into a mutual fund charging the average 2% management fee will lose out on over $2.2 MILLION worth of gains from the fees alone!
This is why it's so important and valuable for people to learn how to invest their own money.
